DESCRIPTION:
Beirut is a game of skill, not chance. You do not have to drink in order to
play. There are two players per team, each team begins with ten cups of
water arranged in a triangle. As your opponent sinks a ping pong ball
into the cup, you have to remove the cup. You compete until the cups
are all gone.
RULES:
- teams shoot for first shot
- a player shoots until they miss
- pull cup as soon as it is hit
- girls can blow the ball out of the cup (once the ball hits the
water, the cup is hit and you cannot blow a ball off of the water)
- guys cannot use their fingers to get the ball out of the cup
- if the same cup is hit twice, three cups are removed and balls
go back to the shooter
- if balls make it into different cups then it is balls back to
the shooter and the two cups removed
- if the cup is knocked off the table, the cup is to be removed
- a bounce shot can be swatted out of play after it has hit the
table (if cup is made, two cups are pulled)
- one re-rack is allowed throughout the game
(not mid turn) - all teams get rebuttles
- overtime consists of a three cup triangle
